Services We Provide
Pollination
ApiLife Limited offer pollination services. We work with our customers to ensure their needs are met well before any hives are delivered. We do this by meeting face to face, at the location of pollination to discuss and map out where the hives will be positioned, quantities of hives needed, the time frame the hives are needed and if there are any hazards.
We tailor make our plans specific to each pollination needs. In some circumstances ApiLife Limited may wavier any pollination fees if the hives produce excess honey crops.
Mentoring
ApiLife Limited offer one on one mentoring of new beekeepers around the Greater Wellington region and lower North Island. We also welcome all beekeepers to e-mail or call if they need any help or advice.
ApiLife Limited have staff members that are Primary ITO Apiculture assessors and can assist you with your studying needs. We can also offer access to beehives to help complete some of the practical aspects of the assessments.
Americal Foul Brood (AFB) Inspections
ApiLife Limited offers free AFB inspections to all non-commercial beekeepers within Wairarapa area. This is limited to time and location.
ApiLife Limited offers AFB inspections to all beekeepers North Island wide. However, these inspections are charged, and prices reflect location and time spent travelling and time spent checking hives. After initial contact and site or base location/s given to ApiLife Limited an invoice will be sent outlining the travel costs from our Masterton base to site or base location/s and back to our base. This invoice will need to be paid before any inspections are completed. A follow up invoice will be sent detailing time involved checking hives.

ApiLife Limited offers free COI sign offs to all non-commercial beekeepers within Wairarapa area. This is limited to time and location.

Wasp Control & Removal
ApiLife Limited offer free wasp control and removal. We have several methods we can employ to bait and control wasps that do not attract honeybees. A team member will also spend some time looking for the wasp nest. If you already know where a wasp nest is than we can also help in its destruction and removal to prevent any other future wasp invasions.
Swarm Control & Removal
ApiLife Limited offer free swarm control and removal. In most cases we can capture the swarm and relocate it to a new home. However, we can also capture the swarm and supply Hiveware for you to enjoy your very own beehive in the backyard. ApiLife Limited would also provide free mentoring/ inspections until you can successfully look after the hive on your own.
